\"\"\"\"\"\"All of our furniture is manufactured on site in Nottinghamshire, enabling us to offer a truly \u2018Made in Britain\u2019 product. Wherever possible we also try and use British Suppliers when sourcing timber and other essential materials. We also use local craftsmen and companies when outsourcing elements of the manufacturing such as upholstery.<\/p>\n

Our expert estimators are able to produce professional looking concept drawings, sketches, designs and CAD drawings if required.<\/p>\n

We are able to manufacture from clients specifications and drawings, and when necessary offer value engineering to meet specific budgets.<\/p>\n

Our 12,000 sq ft facility in Pleasley Vale near Mansfield has been designed to meet the demands of modern furniture manufacturing techniques, whilst retaining key traditional values.<\/p>\n

Our plant includes CNC, Edge Bander, Press and Veneering Equipment, full range of solid timber conversion machinery, 3 Bay Spray Booth and full range of Spraying Equipment.<\/p>\n

We have recently purchased a new shaped Edge Bander and upgraded our old automatic single sided Edge Bander to now incorporate rounded corners.<\/p>\n

In the latter part of 2016 we also purchased a brand new CNC machine increasing our capacity within the machine shop by 100%. The new machine accommodates jumbo boards which should enable Sylvan to be more competitive and efficient when working on larger hotel and contract furniture projects.<\/p>\n

The most recent investment made within the factory is the installation of a new spray booth. This has transformed our polishing area enabling us to tackle much more sophisticated polishing requirements.<\/p>\n

We like to demonstrate our commitment to reinvesting in Sylvan, enabling us to remain competitive and fully up to date within the ever changing contract furniture market.<\/p>\n

Our new office suite which accommodates the administrative staff within Sylvan was built as a mezzanine floor to create additional manufacturing space and this sits above the staff canteen and client hospitality\/showroom\/meeting room.<\/p>\n

Another mezzanine floor has recently been erected to increase the overall factory space which now stands at approx. 12,000 sq ft. This is predominantly used for storage but has given us the additional space below to cope with larger hotel projects and therefore compliment the new CNC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
