We have worked with specifiers, architects, and independent hotel owners, turning their ideas into products. We also work exceptionally well with designers, developing their concepts into usable pieces of furniture unique to individual hotels or specific brands.

Our highly skilled team is able to support and advise clients during product development by providing initial sketches, through to detailed CAD drawings. Our CNC software programme then allows seamless progression through to the prototype or final manufacturing stages of projects.

We can offer an initial site survey ensuring that we make the most effective use of the space that you have, as well as offering an installation service, guaranteeing a smooth transition from factory to hotel bedroom/restaurant/public area/boardroom.

Our Production Director and Production Manager have over 50 years of experience within the furniture manufacturing industry, both starting their working lives on the factory floor as Apprentice Cabinet Makers. They are able to guide and assist, when required, on how to best manufacture pieces of furniture, keeping within your design ideas, space available, budgets and maintaining quality and durability at all times, all things essential within the contract furniture market.

Our Operations Manager and project manager have over 30 years of experience within the furniture industry and use their knowledge and expertise to guide you towards the right materials and sometimes offer suggestions for alternatives, ensuring that you receive the most competitive quotes from Sylvan without jeopodising quality.

Our Commercial Director having worked for Sylvan for almost 20 years also has over 20 years’ experience within the hotel industry where she worked in a variety of roles for IHG.

We are now able to design and manufacture products for a diverse range of markets including hotel furniture, contract furniture, care homes, educational establishments and even high end residential projects.
